Student QA assistant

Hi there! We’re Driversnote, a small SaaS company based in the heart of Copenhagen. We take pride in helping more than 2,5 million users worldwide keep a mileage logbook. No one likes to do mileage documentation - so we try to remove this tedious work and make our customers’ work life simpler by saving them time and money.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious, flexible student assistant eager to get hands-on experience in a tech start-up.

We’re full speed ahead building out our service across different countries. With thousands of active users relying on our app every day we need to make sure we deliver a high quality product which means making sure we test it thoroughly. So no doubt your work will have an impact on the happiness of our customers.

The role

We’re looking for a part-time student assistant to support the development team in finding bugs before they reach our users.

The role does not involve any programming, but will require you to be comfortable with IT and prepared to learn many technical terms. We’d like you to come with a “can-do” spirit, eager to help with anything we might throw at you and be ready to see how a popular, growing SaaS business really works from the inside.

We imagine you’re studying an IT-related degree in or near Copenhagen, and we expect you have either completed your first year at your studies, or have at least some relevant experience from a previous job or study.

Working hours are 12-20 hours per week, with flexibility built in to account for exams and school holidays. Danish language skills are not a requirement as our office language is English.

Typical work tasks

  • Manual testing of our mobile app and website before each new release.
  • Supporting our engineers with additional testing and monitoring.

You must

  • Be tech-savvy; curious and motivated to gain a deep understanding of how our product works - inside and out.
  • Be detail oriented and highly structured and good at familiarising yourself with complex tasks.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and have clear written communication skills.

It would be nice if you

  • Have a driver’s licence.
  • Have experience with testing software.
  • Have worked at a tech startup before.

We offer

At Driversnote you will be part of a team composed of talented people that are fun to be around. We hope we can both teach you something and learn something new from you. You’ll get to work with and learn from a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs and tech people.

We work in a relaxed environment with new offices near The Meatpacking District. We have tasty freshly cooked lunch every day, great coffee, cozy Friday drinks, and great events from our running club, gaming nights and of course epic Christmas and summer parties.
